Struggle

I visited a blog where the idea is to post a poem everyday. I recently complained to someone that I've lost my "voice," so this may be a struggle. But I will try.


Hands.
Fingers clicking on keys.
I hit the Return button
and wait for a moment of passion
to surge.
Expression, not forthcoming, eludes
the capture by impatient ears,
straining to hear the Voice.
A choice becomes a burden,
and my fingers cease to move.
